Overnight snow turns Shetland into winter wonderland

WHILE travelling conditions were described as hazardous this morning, there is no doubt that the arrival of snow overnight turned Shetland into an even more beautiful place and put a smile on many faces.

We asked our readers to send us their snow photos from this morning, and the response has been great, in fact almost overwhelming, as we also had to contend with a power cut.

Here is a first selection of our readers’ snow photos. Many thanks to all contributors.
