A THIRTY four year old man missing in Shetland since Tuesday morning has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.
Grant Redfern was traced at Brindister, a few miles south of the Ness of Trebister where he was last seen at 5am.
Police, Lerwick lifeboat, voluntary coastguard teams and the Sumburgh based search and rescue helicopter were all involved in the search for Redfern after he was reported missing at Tuesday lunchtime.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said they were pleased to confirm that HM Coastguard had traced the missing man.
