MORE change is in the offing at the top of Shetland Amenity Trust as its head of operations gets set to leave.
Adam Johnson is due to leave his post at the end of the month.
He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the trust’s customer facing operations, property portfolio and facilities management.
Sandy Middleton.It comes after it was announced last week that chief executive Mat Roberts is leaving the trust.
Both parties continue to offer no comment on the reasons behind the move.
Sandy Middleton, who is head of engagement, will take on the role of interim chief executive.
She said it will be for a “short period until further plans can be made in the New Year”.
Shetland Amenity Trust, meanwhile, aims to to “safeguard, enhance, and promote Shetland’s heritage”.
The organisation, which is part-funded by Shetland Charitable Trust, was formed in 1983.
It operates the Shetland Museum and Archives, as well as the Sumburgh Head Lighthouse, while it also oversees the popular Shetland Wool Week.
